Your marriage license may be obtained at the Clark County Courthouse located at 200 South 3rd Street. The fee is currently $60 and is payable to the Clark County Courthouse in cash or by traveler’s check only and is subject to change.

Wedding Licenses
COURTHOUSE HOURS
Every day from 8 a.m. - midnight
APPLICATION
A male and female person, at least 18 years of age, not nearer of kin than second cousin or cousins of half blood, may be issued a marriage license. Proof of age may be required. Both parties must appear at the Marriage License Bureau in the County Courthouse.
BLOOD TESTS/WAITING PERIODS
In Nevada, blood tests are not required and there is no waiting period.
CONSENT FOR PERSONS BETWEEN
THE
AGES OF 16 AND 18
A. Consent must be given in person at the time of application by either parent or legal guardian. The person giving consent must have proof of identity.
B. If consent is given by notarized affidavit, it must be written in English, contain the birth date of the minor and state the relationship of the person giving consent.
ORDER OF COURT FOR PERSONS
UNDER THE AGE OF 16
A person less than 16 years of age may marry if either parent or legal guardian files an action, pays all the court fees as provided by law and presents a court order from a Nevada State Court authorizing the Clerk to issue a license.
DIVORCE REQUIREMENTS
In order to obtain a Marriage License and have a legal marriage, divorces must be final in the state where granted. The date of the final decree and the city and state where granted are required.
OFFICIANTS
To be legally married, a marriage ceremony must be performed by one of our officiants who is authorized to conduct legal marriage ceremonies by the State of Nevada.*
WITNESS
State law requires one witness to the marriage ceremony.
MARRIAGE RECORDS
You may obtain a copy of the certificate of proof of marriage for a fee of $15 from the Clark County Recorder:

Please include the date of the marriage and the names of the bride and groom with your request.
* MGM Grand wedding ceremonies may only be performed by MGM Grand officiants.
